“What keeps you going?” Someone asked me today what keeps me going in a hard industry. I have to say the love of music is what inspires me to keep pushing forward. Music is not just a hobby that I enjoy doing, it's life. My world is surrounded with music, it brings me peace, it calms my nerves, and helps me find joy in the journey of life. Hobbies are things people enjoy doing in their spare time; music is what I make time for.

It’s so interesting how social media has changed the industry for music artists, actors, musicians, really everybody! I just watched this awesome video of a basketball usher who got the chance to sing the national anthem at a recent game, he was so amazing!! By far better than any of the top pop artists I've ever heard. Because of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media sites, we can discover real talent from all parts of the world.
We no longer have to watch or listen to TV and radio stations that tell us a person is good, we can find artists we love and enjoy, and who are just as talented as artists in Hollywood. Wutzup world!!! It’s been a while but I’m finished with school until fall semester, and I’m bouncing with happiness! Lately I've been collaborating with other local music artists around these parts and it’s been a blast! It’s amazing how much talent I’m surrounded by! I’m grateful I get the chance to work with like-minded individuals as myself, in doing something we all love.
Music is a big part of my happiness, it’s not my life but it brings me the most joy next to my religion and family. I’m recently working on a single called Never Surrender; it’s about a mother who raised children in a refugee camp and never lost faith and hope in God, or life. I'm so grateful for mothers who love and care for their children, slowly mothers are losing sight of what’s really important because they're trying to keep up with worldly cares, but thank goodness for those mothers who never forget what's really important!!
